Also I think the price is a bit steep, when OBS can do what it does and more. This is almost imperceptible on videos with little motion, but when recording gameplay footage it was very obvious. All my recording would have a small space in that area where the frames would often appear out of sync with the rest of the video. I realized after making a bunch of recordings that it was having issues recording the lower right of the screen. Overall: iTop Screen Recorder is very convenient, but I have had issues with it. Bigger issue though is that the recordings have this glitchy issue in the bottom right corner where there is a small square of video that lags about a frame behind sometimes, and looks bad on recordings with lots of motion.
I don't get why I should have to pay again. I really love the overall setup of the product.Ĭons: I paid for the pro, but when they went from 2.3 to 2.4, it said I could either stay at 2.3 or PAY for 2.4. I never had to struggle to find the right setting for an expected feature.
